NZ platform overturn
Two people were seriously injured last week when an aerial work platform overturned on a home in the town of Sherenden, North West of Hastings on the north island.
The two, a man and a woman, said to be in their 50s, were trapped under the overturned machine. The emergency services from Hastings managed to free them relatively quickly and they were taken to hospital.
The female is said to be in a serious condition, while the man was reported as stable. The incident occurred last Monday October 26th. While we have been informed of the basic details, we have no information on the type of platform or the cause. But will update if we learn more from any of our readers based in the region.
