Haulotte's new fleet management system
Haulotte has launched a new fleet management and telematics system - Sherpal - for its range of aerial work platforms and telehandlers.
The new system offers remote access to a wide range of machine data in real time. For example, the system can provide GPS location tracking, geo-fencing, usage, fuel/charge levels, safety alerts such as notifying the owner of platform overload or possible entrapment incidents.
A number of service and maintenance benefits include monitoring battery condition and engine performance, particulate filter regeneration, scheduled maintenance notifications and fault codes, allowing service technicians to perform diagnosis evaluations prior to visiting site.
