10 Snorkels for SOOS

Spanish sales and rental company SOOS Maquinaria has taken delivery of 10 units of Snorkel's 19ft S3219E slab electric scissor lifts from local distributor Ahern Iberica.

Weighing 1,614kg, the S3219E offers a working height of 7.79 metres and a 250kg platform capacity. Features include a 910mm roll out deck extension, a fixed upper control box and saloon style platform entry gate. It is rated for two people indoors and a single person outdoors.

SOOS managing director Oscar Castellanos, said: “We were very impressed by the simplicity of the Snorkel electric scissor lifts, which not only make them easier to operate, but also benefit us by making them easier and faster to service in between rentals.”

Founded in 2011, SOOS Maquinaria offers a fleet of more than 400 aerial work platforms, forklifts and aluminium scaffolding from its locations in Bergondo and Porriño, in the north west of Spain. The company is also a distributor for Socage truck and van mounted platforms, Baoli and Still forklifts, Pramac pallet jacks, and Alufase scaffold towers.
