45t added to City set

Spanish crane rental company Grúas Valladolid has taken delivery of a 45 tonne Demag AC 45 City All Terrain crane.

Joining two 25 tonne AC 25s and a 30 tonne AC 30 in the company’s fleet, the AC 45 City has a 31.2 metre main boom plus a 7.1 to 13 metre offsettable extension to offer a maximum tip height of 45 metres. The crane’s IC-1 Plus control and Flex Base systems automatically monitor the position of each outrigger to calculate the available load chart. It will be predominately used for indoor projects, for sectors such as the automotive industry, as well as for construction projects.

Company owner José Laherrán Torre, said: “It was simply the time to add the latest generation of City crane to our fleet, and to be honest, we didn’t even seriously consider anything other than the Demag AC 45 City.”
