Goldhofer adds to UK network

German trailer manufacturer Goldhofer has appointed sales and rental company Specialist Trailer Hire (STH) as a distributor for England.

Based in Leeds, with a second location in Rotherham, STH will be responsible for the sales, rental, service and training of Goldhofer’s heavy duty transport solutions throughout the country. The company kicked off the new arrangement with an order for 16 Stepstar self-tracking semi-trailers for its rental fleet.

The three axle Stepstar trailers offer payloads of 30 to 45 tonnes and are available with a choice of tyre size and frame options as well as a two piece hydraulic ramps. Features include anti-slip polymer decking, a large number of anchor points and lashing rings and a 3.85 metre by 760mm recess for the booms of aerial platforms or excavators etc...

STH has taken delivery of 16 Goldhofer Stepstar semi-trailers into its rental fleet
