Grove RTs for MPM

Chilean rental company MPM Rental has taken delivery of three 120 tonne Grove RT9130E-2 Rough Terrain cranes.

The two axle RT9130E features a five section 48.7 metre main boom and an 11 to 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which offsets by up to 40 degrees, while two additional eight metre inserts provide a maximum tip height of 85 metres. They will be predominately used to support the country's mining industry.

MPM equipment manager Felipe Melo, said: “We are a fan of the crane’s impressive 120 tonne capacity and reach, and its bi-fold extension provides additional reach and versatility to get more jobs done. We also like the easy to understand manual, which is very helpful.”
