Tall Building charity challenge
UK based specialist scaffolding and mastclimber contractor the Brogan group is to host the Tall Building charity initiative to help raise funds for the Lighthouse Club.
Starting on Monday, volunteer employees from Brogan in the UK and Ireland will walk or run increasing distances for eight consecutive weeks as part of an effort to raise £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club fund that supports those injured in construction.
The distances will be based on the heights of eight buildings that Brogan has provided access equipment for. For example, if one of the buildings measure 95 metres in height, the distance for the week will be set at 9.5km.

To donate, or keep up to date on how the company is getting on, you can visit its
JustGiving Page with all proceeds given to the Lighthouse Club. Relying entirely on donations from those within the industry, the charity provides emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families – often following an life changing accident.
This is not the first time the Brogan group has organised an unique charity fundraising event – back in 2015 it took part in the
London three peaks challenge in which three employees abseiled more than 550 metres down the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater and the Walkie-Talkie buildings in a single day.
