Four big crawlers for Al Faris

Dubai based crane and heavy haulage company Al Faris has finished taking delivery of four large Liebherr lattice crawler cranes with capacities of 400, 500, 600 and 800 tonnes.

The latest model to be delivered was a 500 tonne LR 1500 which has a maximum lift height of 164 metres, a maximum radius of 144 metres and an overall width of 9.1 metres. It also offers compact transport dimensions with the largest components weights no more than 45 tonnes and offering widths no more than three metres. The crane follows the delivery of a 400 tonne LR 1400, a 600 tonne LR 1600/2 and 800 tonne LR 1800-1.0 over the past 12 months.

Al Faris' new LR 1500 is one of the first to be delivered in the Middle East
