LHM 800 for Antwerp
Belgian terminal joint venture Neemnatie has taken delivery of the first Liebherr LHM 800 mobile harbour crane to arrive the Benelux area. The new crane will be employed at its new dry bulk terminal at the Port of Antwerp.
The LHM 800 is Liebherr’s largest mobile harbour crane and can handle its maximum 308 tonne capacity at a radius of 16 metres and up to 57.9 tonnes at a radius of 64 metres. The crane was shipped fully assembled from Rostock, Germany, to the port on a heavy load carrier/barge, while a 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 All Terrain crane was used to install its remaining counterweight.
