Aerial lift topples in Manchester
A boom lift, most likely a trailer lift, tipped over last night in Manchester, two men were in the basket working on a statue in Albert square when the nine meter lift tipped over dropping them around six metres.
A 57-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and is in a critical condition at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The other man's condition is described as "stable".

The police and Health and Safety Executive have opened an investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the accident - which happened at about 19:30 last night - is asked to contact Greater Manchester Police.
