Speedy expands in Scotland

UK rental company Speedy has opened two new regional service centres in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, Scotland.

The 2,000 square metre, purpose built Edinburgh facility is located on West Edinburgh business park, while the 1,200 square metre Aberdeen depot is on the Denmore industrial estate.

Both locations will offer powered access, lifting equipment, general tool rental and construction equipment, while also providing IPAF and PASMA training. The Aberdeen depot in particular will also focus on providing lifting equipment to the offshore oil and gas operations in the North Sea.

Speedy regional manager for Scotland, Ryan McGurk, said: “The new sites in Edinburgh and Aberdeen occupy strategic locations in each city. This means we’re now much more accessible for customers at busy times, with arterial connections ensuring deliveries land with customers fast, and well within our four hour delivery promise.”
