Tadano Demag merger takes another step

Tadano has taken another step in the merging of the Tadano and Demag brands, with the launch of a new worldwide website.

Although the new product branding and combined nomenclature system does not fully come into effect until October, the new site combines all Tadano and Demag products on the same site. The date the new site went live - August 29th - is significant in that it is the date in 1919 that Masuo Tadano started his welding business that would eventually become a leading crane manufacturer.

Klaus Kröppel, senior vice president sales, for Tadano Europe said: “Harmonising all equipment under the one Tadano brand is part of our long term strategy of becoming number one worldwide in the lifting equipment industry. The new websites make it easier than ever to access the full spectrum of Tadano equipment so customers can find the right lifting solutions for their fleet.”

The site includes a new 360 degree view feature that allows visitors to get a better look and feel for a crane, in addition to the latest brochures, datasheets, photography and videos etc... The start page can be accessed via: www.tadanoamericas.com or www.tadanoeurope.com with both addresses feeding into the same start point.
