Padix goes Genie

Johan Claeys founder of Diksmuide based powered access company Padix has taken delivery of his first Genie , a 135ft Z135/70 today, taking his Genie fleet to 60 units.

Claeys established Padix two years ago and while the fleet is predominantly Genie, it also includes a number of Snorkels, Skyjack and Terex (Simon) units.

The Genie fleet includes 34ft Z34/22, 34ft Z45/25RT’s, four 51ft Z51/30 J RT, several 60ft Z60 along with an 80ft Z80 plus a number of electric and Rough Terrain scissors.

Claeys says that he has taken to standardising on Genie, which he buys though local dealer Alift Michielsens, because “Why re-invent the hot water ? My customers want Genie machines and I get good quality and service together with a good residual value”.

When Claeys took delivery of his new Z135/70 from Allift’s sales manager Mike Van den Bosch he stated that a second Z135/70 could be ordered soon.
