Cool buy for Vp

Vp, (previously Vibroplant) owner of UK Forks one of the leading UK’s telehandler rental companies has acquired 100 percent of the issued share capital of Cool Customers Ltd, a company that sales and rents Air conditioning units, heaters and dryers, for £1 million in cash.

Cool Customers was established in 1997 and is based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, and has revenues in the region of £1.2 million.

The business will be integrated within Hire Station’s specialist cooling, heating and environmental product division, Climate Hire.

Jeremy Pilkington, chairman, said:
“The acquisition of Cool Customers is an important stepping stone in Hire Station’s plans to accelerate the development of Climate Hire, its climate products division. Importantly it opens up new markets, including a successful internet offering. Hire Station’s latest acquisition re-affirms the ongoing progress of our tool hire business.”
