Terex adds third facility in Texas
Terex Utilities has opened a third Terex Service Centre in Texas and announced the new branch manager.
Based in Baytown, Houston, the new purpose built premises will offer full servicing and repair services as well as inspections, maintenance, transfers and rebuilds for all Terex and Genie equipment. The move follows the opening of the company's second facility in the state earlier this year in Burleson, joining the original location in San Antonio.
Mark Johnson has been appointed branch manager responsible for leading the sales and service teams. He joins the company from Briggs Equipment where he has been district manager for the past four years, responsible for managing six locations and 120 employees throughout Texas.

Terex Utilities third service centre in Texas is based in the Houston area
Terex Utilities regional operations manager, Robert Morris, said: “Texas is the fastest growing, and one of the largest, markets in the US. Expanding our footprint of service centres in key markets enables Terex Utilities to strengthen our partnership with our customers by providing them parts and service, plus access to the latest technical training and technology—for Terex and Genie brands and other equipment.”
The company has also said it is looking to open a new location in Atlanta, Georgia, later this year and that it is considering ‘other markets’ for 2022.
