Fatal fall
A man employed by the Alabama Department of Transport has died after he fell from the truck mounted lift/ bucket truck he was working from last Monday, October 18th.
The man, John Bonner, 57, was working on his own, fixing a road sign for Interstate I-65 in Birmingham, Alabama, when he fell around 10 metres to the ground.
He was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. We have no further details at this stage.
