Haulotte off and running
Haulotte has released its first quarter 2007 results, with revenues up 37 percent on the same period of 2006 to €144.2 million ($196 million).
The geographic split remains similar to last year, with 91 percent of total revenues occurring in Europe but only 84 percent of new machine sales.
Order intake to the end of March was 50 percent higher than at the same time last year.
As a result of the strong start the company has increased its forecasts for the full year for the second time in four weeks.
In late March it upped its estimates from 15 to 20 percent, the company now expects revenues to come in 25 percent up on 2006. This would suggest full year revenues of €649 million ($881 million).
Vertikal Comment
This is of course an excellent start to 2007 for the fast growing French company. The increase in full year forecasts is no surprise to us though.
Earlier this year Vertikal.Net predicted that Haulotte could achieve sales of between €650 to €675 million. Looks like we might be have been right on the money!
