Snorkel trailers for Instant

UK rental company Instant Tool & Plant Hire has taken delivery of two Snorkel trailer lifts, a 12.9 metre TL37J and a 16.7 metre TL49J.

The articulated TL37J has a riser, fixed length top boom and 1.3 metre articulating jib, providing an outreach of 5.6 metres with a platform capacity of 215kg. It has an overall length of 6.4 metres, a width of 1.61 metres, a height of 2.1 metres and weighs 1,586kg.

Instant Tool & Plant has taken two Snorkel trailer lifts

The TL49J has a single stage riser, topped by a two section telescopic boom and a 1.3 metre articulating jib. It offers an outreach of 8.5 metres and a platform capacity of 200kg. It has an overall length of 7.1 metres, a width of 1.72 metres and a height of 2.16 metres. Features on the bi-energy models include proportional controls, hydraulic outriggers and Snorkel’s optional friction drive system to assist movements when unhitched from a vehicle.

The 16.7 metre Snorkel TL49J

Owners Andy and Joanne Macartney, said: “These UK built towable booms are ideal for our customers, many of whom are completing projects on evenings and weekends, and can simply visit our location and take the equipment with them to get the job done, without worrying about deliveries and collections.
