TNT acquires JMS Group
TNT Crane & Rigging has acquired the businesses of JMS Crane & Rigging, WM Services Crane & Rigging, and Big Ray's Equipment - the three constituent parts of the JMS Group of Billings, Montana.
JMS is a full service mobile crane and heavy haulage provider primarily serving the wind, power, petrochemical, and refining markets across Montana and Idaho.
Ray Mullen established Mullen Crane and Transport in 1978 and founded WM (William Mullen) Services in Soda Springs, Idaho, in 2012, followed by Big Ray’s Equipment. The group is led by chief executive Ray Mullen, and his children John, Bill and Jennifer Mullen. The group run around 30 cranes from Billings and Soda Springs, Idaho, alongside a substantial fleet of heavy haulage trucks and trailers. Mullen and his family will remain with the merged business in their current roles.
The deal expands TNT’s geographic branch footprint into Montana and Idaho, while strengthening its potential in the regional wind power and refining markets.
