Ainscough takes ESTA award
At last nights ESTA awards for excellence Ainscough of the UK took the top award for lifts with cranes of under 100 tonnes. The job involved a complex four tonne telescoping under load lift at the millennium stadium.

Serial winner Mammoet of Holland won the award for a 2,050 tonne lift involving two 54 metre high reactors in a remote part of China.
A new award for innovation was presented to the Manitowoc group for its Grove GTK1100.

The event held at the Hilton Munich Park hotel was sponsored by Liebherr and to a lesser extent, Terex, Manitowoc and Tadano Faun, was attended by some of the largest of Europe’s crane rental companies but was notable for the poor turnout of smaller operations.
