Point of Rental expands in S. Africa
Rental software company Point of Rental has expanded its team in South African with the addition of two new account executives, Nhlanhla Nkomo and Leon Du Plessis.
Du Plessis joins the company after four years at South African access rental company Eazi Access, where he was a business development manager. He began his career in security, starting out in 2007 as a group sales manager at Top Security. In 2012 he moved to ADT Security as a branch manager, and two years later was appointed as national sales manager with G4S South Africa. Two years after that he made a change to the technology sector becoming national sales manager for Thorburn Technical Solutions. A year later he made the move to Eazi Access.

Leon Du Plessis
Nkomo joins the business from Asyst International where he has been head of strategy & operations for the past seven and a half years, formulating growth strategies and providing business intelligence software solutions throughout sub-Saharan Africa. He started out in retail in 1998 as an assistant store manager and got his first taste in the software market when he joined Asyst for the first time as an ERP consultant in 2000. He left in 2008 to join GT247.com as a financial manager, leaving after five years to return to Asyst and his most recent job.

Nhlanhla Nkomo
Point of Rental chief executive Wayne Harris said: “Our mission is to empower people worldwide to better their businesses and themselves through rental software.
