IPS opens in Finland
Independent Parts and Service (IPS) the Telford, UK based supplier of parts and services to the powered access industry has established a new operation in Finland IPS Oy.
From a base near Helsinki Airport, IPS Oy is looking to supply customers throughout Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and the Baltic States with replacement parts and support.
The new operation is a partnership between IPS and MN-Lifttek, an established Finnish supplier of after sales service to the powered access industry. The company has worked with powered access for more than 10 years and built strong relations with a number of manufacturers during this time.
Mika Närhi, managing director of MN-Lifttek will also manage IPS Oy. Närhi has over 15 years experience working within an international service business which has included time spent working overseas.
Oskari Kaivonurmi, MN Lifttek’s technical expert will operate IPS Oy on a daily basis and be the first point of contact for Nordic customers.
Rick Mustillo, IPS business development director said: “We are delighted to open IPS Oy and provide a local support centre for users of powered access in Scandinavia making it easier for customers to get hold of the part they need fast”.
