16 Multitel for DJB Machinery - UK

UK-based arborist supply company DJB Machinery has purchased a further 16 Multitel SMX250, 25 metre spider lifts, taking the total number of units purchased in the past 18 months to 28.

The SMX250 has a 25.2 metre working height, with a maximum outreach of 11.6 metres with 80kg, the maximum platform capacity of 250kg can be taken to an outreach of 7.9 metres. Overall weight is just 2,600kg making it ideal for a two axle equipment trailer. Power options include diesel, petrol or electric.

A Multitel SMX250 ready for delivery

DJB Machinery has been the Multitel dealer for the tree care sector in the UK since mid-2020. The company, owned by Daniel Bryce, is located in the village of Buxted, near Uckfield, East Sussex. It supplies arborist companies with a full range of supplies and equipment from chainsaws and stump grinders to clothing and protective equipment as well as aerial work platforms and loaders. Half of the 16 new units are pre-sold.

Greg Moore sales manager for Multitel UK & Ireland said: "In 2020 Daniel Bryce contacted us to ask if they could buy our SMX range to sell to their customers as they had heard about the success it was having in the arborist sector. In November 2020, therefore, DJB Machinery became the official distributor of the SMX range, but only to arborists. Multitel UK continues to deal directly with the rest of its customers, both for sale and hire.”
