Record year for Hy-Brid
Low level aerial lift manufacturer Hy-Brid Lifts claims to have set a new record last year in terms of sales.
The company has not disclosed the actual revenues it achieved, but says that sales were 99 percent higher than in 2020, driven by a 140 percent jump in sales of Push Around scissor lifts. Among its self-propelled models, demand for the 19ft PS-1930 in its first full year of production, grew 83 percent while orders for the 12ft ZT-1230 increased 73 percent.

Chief executive Jay Sugar said: “We have seen a significant increase in demand for more efficient and manoeuvrable aerial work platforms. Not only does our product line meet these customer requirements, but our lifts are setting new industry standards.”
“We have experienced our share of manufacturing challenges due to ongoing material sourcing and labour shortages, but having American made products gives us the flexibility to get creative with resources and overcome these obstacles enabling us to maintain shorter lead times than our competitors.”
