Bravi expands to meet demand

Bravisol, the producer of the Bravi range of self propelled mast lifts such as the Leonardo, is building a 650 square metres extension to its plant in Italy to help keep pace with growing demand.

The new building will be totally dedicated to fabrication and assembly of the popular Leonardo range. Located in front of the existing plant, the facility will include robotic welding machines and an automated assembly line.

The new building at Bravi is due to begin production in September

The existing plant will focus on the assembly of the LUI 400, LUI 900 and LUI Slim as well housing the company’s spare parts warehouse.

Bravi has also employed Claudio Boria, as technical consultant responsible product design and developent while another new manager with 10 years relevant experience has been recruited to manage the production processes and quality inspections.

The company, which has been marketing its range of electric powered aerial lifts, which feature extending decks and high gradeability, for many years has made significant breakthroughs in the past two years or so as it found itself with the right product at the right time.

Bauma was, it says, one of its most successful shows ever, with a large number of orders booked on the stand or shortly afterwards.

The Bravi Stand at Bauma

They include: the first 12 units for Aerial Platform Hire of Ireland, several orders for Australia, including a container load to the ASPAC group and units for Kads Access, the first orders for Dubai and Iceland and an order for 15 units from Skanska Sweden.

The order from Skanska follows a successful relationship and experience of the products at Skanska Norway.
