UpRight returns to France

Platform Sales Europe the Benelux based UpRight distributor has opened a new business in Lyon - UpRight France, a trading name of PSE France. The new company will distribute UpRight powered products throughout the country with Sales manager Yannick Borgel at the helm.

Borgel was previously with Genie France, where for six years he was responsible for sales in the south-east of the country.

Borgel said: "I moved to UpRight from Genie because it represents a great opportunity and another real challenge for me. The French market is very happy to see UpRight back.

“A lot of rental companies have UpRight machines in their fleets - and will buy more now they know there is good quality support just a few hours away”.

"Another major manufacturer offering machines in France means more choice for the customer. Of course the market is competitive, but we will win by offering the best service and support for machines in the field."

"PSE has built a very strong reputation as a company that can deliver machines from stock, backed up with a great spare parts and service offering.

"My first task is to recruit a superb team of service engineers. This team will visit all the rental companies and address any issues with older UpRight products, to demonstrate that we are serious about winning their business.

"Once the customer base has confidence in our ability to support UpRight machines, we will start to win some really big orders. Most of the UpRight machines in France are between five and seven years old, so there is a fantastic opportunity to win replacement business.

"It will take maybe a year to grow sales, but it is important for customers to realise that UpRight is back in France for good this time."
