Wacker Neuson acquires Enar
Telehandler and light equipment manufacturer Wacker Neuson has completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the equity of Spanish concrete compaction equipment manufacturer Enar/Enarco.
Established in 1964, Enarco is based in Zaragoza and trades under the Enar name. It has subsidiaries in France, Mexico, Poland and China and produces a wide range of internal vibrators for concrete, along with vibratory plates, rammers and walk behind rollers for soil and asphalt compaction. Wacker Neuson says that it will manage Enar as an independent brand.
Concrete technology specialist Markus Einsele who joined Wacker Neuson seven years ago, and Enar chief executive David Gascon, have been appointed joint directors of the Enar business.
Einsele said: “I am delighted that this transaction has now been completed and we can get started. Enar ideally complements Wacker Neuson’s offering in the rapidly growing concrete technology market, enabling us to offer our customers the right product regardless of their needs.”
