Another acquisition for Able
US-based Able Equipment has acquired the equipment rental assets, and service operations of Extreme Rentals of Manassas, Virginia.
The entire Extreme team will remain with the business. The Manassas location becomes Able’s seventh branch operation and expands its footprint southward into the mid-Atlantic Region serving Delaware, Maryland and Virginia markets, including the metropolitan areas of Baltimore and Washington D.C.

Extreme Rental was founded in 2021 by the merging of Power Rentals USA and Extreme Crane and Rigging under the Extreme Industrial Holdings umbrella. Extreme Rentals offers a wide range of equipment included self-propelled aerial lifts and generators etc...
Privately owned Able was established in 1996, and is based in Deer Park, New York, and opened a second location in Edison, New Jersey adding a third - Pennsauken, New Jersey - in 2014. It currently has six branch locations in addition to its headquarters, three in New Jersey and two in Pennsylvania and one in Connecticut. This is the
second acquisition by Able in a month having acquired Elite of Wallingford, Connecticut in June.
