Raimondi to unveil new flat tops
Raimondi has announced that it will unveil two new flat top tower cranes at bauma, this October, along with a new cab design. The company is also expected to announce some significant changes to its production facility.
However the company has not released any details yet of the new products except to say that it will comprise two series, with maximum capacities ranging from six tonnes to 24 tonnes. It also claims that in addition to being equipped with the new cab, they will “boast many technical innovations.”
As with other manufacturers the new cab will be available in two versions both offering more operator comfort with a new seat, updated air flow to prevent screen fogging, structural improvements and single block glass panels on the front and side which together increase visibility by 30 percent.

Chief executive Diego Borgna said: “The past 14 months have marked an exciting new era for Raimondi with the company working on several fundamental projects, including the conceptualisation and development of a new series of flattops. We will also take the opportunity of Bauma to present our new vision and guiding principals.”
Commercial director Cristian Badin added: “Our R&D department has been working extensively on developing cranes that respond to market trends and client needs. The new range of machines, designed with fleet rental companies in mind, will include unique characteristics such as adaptable and lighter jibs, a new seamless crane control system, simplified and compatible components, as well as new tower sections allowing for both internal and external climbing.”
