Panther spends £12 million
Panther Platform Rentals, the Luton, UK, based rental company, now an independent part of the Lavendon group, has spent a further £12 million in new aerial lifts, including scissors from Skyjack, booms from Nifty and truck and track mounted lifts from Oil&Steel.
Panther is also joining with its Lavendon colleagues, Nationwide Access and AMP in adding the new CTE Power Towers, push around lifts, to its product range.
“We have invested steadily in new machines since we joined forces with Lavendon Group last year and this latest spend is part of a continued fleet boost schedule that is set to continue,” said Richard Miller, Panther Platform Rentals joint managing director.

“The boom in business is down to the huge number of major construction projects taking place throughout the UK and also a greater awareness amongst contractors of the need to hire plant from recognised experts in health and safety.
“In this industry it’s important to recognise and meet customer requirements and our investment is strategic, targeted specifically in accordance with client needs and expectations.
