Ontario Crane strike over
It looks as though the Unions and employers in Ontario, Canada, have reached an agreement to end the crane and heavy equipment operators strike.
Unions have ordered workers to return to work, while papers are drawn up for the union members to ratify the agreement.
No details of the settlement have been released yet, but it is assumed that the employers have put up more than the three percent per annum pay hikes that they were offering in the three year deal.
The unions for their part might have given way on some of the other conditions and working rules.
