Is it real?

Last week a regular contributor sent us a video of an accident between a bus and a truck-mounted boom lift. After studying the video we not wholly convinced that it was 100 percent real.

It looked like it had been retouched to create something dramatic, unable to find any corroborating details we did not publish.

Today three more people have sent it to us so we are publishing a link to it and asking you to judge.

If any of our readers from Croatia know anything of this, can you please email us with any information.

When you look at it, note that the bus suddenly slows or shifts before impact and then carries on smoothly with no signs of damage. On the other hand the effect on the men working on the gantry is convincing.

Either this was a clever set up or it was a near miss that a video technician has made into a more dramatic incident OR it really happened.

You be the judge, whichever way it would make a good training video of what can happen and has happened when working over open highways.
