Two more 60 tonners for Marsh
UK crane and telehandler rental company Marsh Plant Hire has taken delivery of two new 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain cranes.
The three axle LTM 1060s feature a six section 48 metre main boom for a 52 metre maximum tip height. The units come with VarioBase viable and automatic outrigger set up and a refinery kit allowing the crane to access more areas within the local refineries and fuel storage depots. It can travel in the UK with its full 12.8 tonnes of counterweight on board.

The two new Liebherrs
Managing director Andy Honeywell said: “We continue to invest in our mobile crane hire fleet despite the current economic uncertainty. The Liebherr LTM 1060 is popular with our customers and operators which made this particular purchasing decision easy. We have placed further orders with Liebherr for cranes to be delivered in 2023."
Marsh Plant Hire can trace its roots back to the 1930s when Leslie Marsh began as a house builder. The rental business was formally set up in 1954 and moved to its current headquarters in 1963, with Geoffrey Marsh at the helm. Today it operates from five locations in Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset and Buckinghamshire, with a fleet of cranes ranging from 20 to 130 tonnes from manufacturers including Liebherr, Grove, Tadano, Terex and Kato. The company also runs a fleet of telehandlers from Manitou, JCB and Merlo.
