New Multitel distributor for Hungary

Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has appointed Hydrotest as end user distributor for its truck mounted lifts in Hungary, working in parallel with Multitel’s direct sales efforts through Manta Management, which covers large rental companies and major accounts.

Hydrotest will focus its initial efforts mostly on the manufacturer’s truck mounted platforms up to 25 metres, which are typically mounted on 3.5 tonne chassis. Chief executive Vladimir Kun concluded the agreement with Multitel’s Mirko Rebuzzi and Roberto Marangoni at Bauma last month.

Family owned and managed Hydrotest was established in Budapest in 2007 to test lifting equipment, but now also distributes HMF loader and forestry cranes, and has previously sold Isoli machines. It also offers a variety of equipment for waste collection, road maintenance - including sweepers - and the utility market. As part of its service, it operates a specialised installation and bodywork shop, which is able to adapt and customise equipment for a customer’s specific work requirements. It employs 15 mechanics and operates five mobile workshops.
