Another Italian acquisition for Kiloutou
Kiloutou has acquired Italian regional general rental company Aerotecnica adding three more locations to its Italian network.
Aerotecnica operates from three locations in Tuscany, including its base in Calenzano on the north side of Florence and depots in Pistoia - between Florence and Lucca, and in Lucca itself. The company is Kiloutou’s fourth Italian acquisition, which takes its network in the country to 25 locations with 250 employees. The company runs a varied fleet that includes a wide range of aerial work platforms, from self-propelled scissor lifts to boom lifts, truck mounts and spider lifts along with fixed frame and 360 degree telehandlers.
Kiloutou moved into Italy in 2017, when it
acquired Cofiloc and Euronol giving it 10 locations in the country. It added a further three more branches in 2018
with the acquisition of Elevo and a further nine locations in 2019
when it purchased Sticar.
Grouop chief executive Olivier Colleau said: “Our group has recently made some transformative moves as regards acquisitions. In 2022, we have entered two new European markets- Denmark in April and Portugal in early November. And we are ending the year with two further acquisitions. I would like to warmly welcome the Aerotecnica team members to the Kiloutou group.”
Kiloutou has been
owned by HLD and Dentressangle since the start of 2018, the new owners have encouraged and funded the company to expand rapidly through acquisitions, both in France and other European markets, including Germany, Italy, Denmark, Spain, Portugal and Poland. Around the same time as this acquisition was announced the company also confirmed the purchase of French modular space company Jamart.
