JLG restructures European team
JLG has restructured its commercial operations in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Indian sub-continent.
The aim of the changes is to bring together all commercial aspects of the business, including JLG Power Towers in the UK and JLG in Tonneins, France, for so that strategies, planning and engineering through to order and delivery are more efficient and consistent.
The changes merge JLG’s regional sales, distribution and service activities into a single division, led by Amsterdam based
Tjitske van Hellemond, and supported by new general manager roles. van Hellemond joined the company as marketing director in 2017 from Cat dealer Pon, and was promoted to director customer care in 2020.

The regional general managers include:
David Courtin general manager sales & service operations Europe. He has been with JLG for almost eight years, and was previously regional sales director for southern Europe, Turkey and North & West Africa.

Bradley Abrahams general manager UK, he was previously UK sales direcrtor a role he has held since joining from Terex in 2017.

Ian Hume general manager Distribution and strategic key accounts. He has been with the company for six years, previously as sales director for emerging markets.

Laurent Montenay, previously responsible for sales takes over responsibility for JLG’s manufacturing, business development and engineering at its plant in Tonneins, France which builds the Toucan mast booms and other masted products. In his new role he will be responsible for further developments of the mast boom and stock picker products. He has been with JLG since 2006.

Jonathan Dawson managing director JLG Power Towers will continue in his current role with responsibility for JLG’s Low-Level business. The Power towers facility in Leicester has moved to a two shift work schedule this month, in response to continued growth in demand, as more countries actively distribute the product range and gain sales. Several other changes have been implemented, to create greater internal efficiencies and improved support to the commercial business teams. They include the appointment of
Amadeus Bissot to the new role of director - ‘order to delivery’ for the region. He has been with the company for almost eight years, and was previously senior strategy and commercial operations manager.
