The previous head of Manitowoc Crane Care, Larry Weyers, is set to move to the post of executive vice president of operations for the Americas region, replacing John Wheeler who moves to a strategic operational role.
Bryce joined Manitowoc in 2004 from John Deere where he was worldwide sales manager for Power Systems. Prior to that he was director of global business development at Square D, Schneider North America.
Etchart said that Bryce will build on the already strong reputation of the Crane Care division.
“Thanks to the achievements of Larry Weyers and his team over the past few years, Larry Bryce will inherit a solid customer care organisation,” said Etchart. “I know that Larry will keep the focus on the key strategic initiatives in order the more firmly establish Crane Care as a key differentiator in the crane industry.”
