CTE adds to Spanish network

CTE has strengthened its distribution in Spain with the appointment of GSE as a service and support operation covering Catalonia.

Based in Sant Andreu de la Barca on the north west side of Barcelona, GSE also handles regional service, support and installation work for Hiab and Effer loader cranes.
The sales and commercial business will be handled by the Effer distributor Stec which is also headquartered in the Barcelona area, but operates through a chain of service agents and dealers located throughout eastern and central Spain, with two locations in the Madrid area. Stec also distributes Galizia pick & carry cranes.

GSE headquarters

Stec’s Eduard Salanguera will be the overall CTE contact person for the Spanish market, supported by his colleague Jose Antonio Garcia who will operate from Madrid.

Export manager Massimo Franceschi said: “CTE has been the market leader in Spain for years in the lifting, logistics and removals sector. With this new reorganisation and strengthening of the existing commercial structure, we want to recover the position we deserve. I am convinced that with the experience of these new collaborators and the strengthening of our presence in terms of after sales service, we will be able to recover the place that a company like CTE must have in a market like Spain.
