Crane Sex

Police in Punta Gorda, Florida have said that they will not be charging a man and woman caught having sex on top of a tower crane at a downtown construction site.

The couple were caught after several witnesses called police to complain about their sky-high rendezvous on the machinery deck/back-mast of a top slewing tower crane.

When police arrived, they spotted the apparently naked pair on top of the crane and ordered them to come down. According to the police report “it was apparent that they were up there having sexual relations”.

They were ordered down by megaphone arrested and handcuffed.

“Both were unclothed and we had to order them over the public address system to dress and come down," said Punta Gorda police officer Butch Arenal.

Justin Dunn, 23 and Nicole Albert, 35, denied that they were having sex on the crane, and said they had climbed to the top to have a good time and take pictures.

The main reason for the two not being charged is that the crane is on private property, owned by Dunn's father who was called out to indentify him.

It could have been much worse for the two if that had not been the case. "Trespass on a construction site is a felony, and had the site owner wanted to press charges it would have been classified as a serious crime," according to the local police..
