Huntley gets access
Geoff Huntley Plant, the Newcastle based telehandler rental company that entered the powered access rental market last October with 10 Manitou rough terrain boom lifts is adding nearly 40 more lifts to its fleet.
The company says that it has had such a success with its boom lifts that is has purchased 20 more Manitou booms, 15 Skyjack 9250 and 6832RT diesel scissor lifts and two 19.5 metre platform height Holland-Lift B-195 scissor lifts.
Steve Huntley told Vertikal.Net that he had seen the Holland-Lift at Bauma and was very impressed with it and that the order followed on from that.
Once all machines are delivered the Huntley powered access fleet will number over 50 units, which is at the top end of where the Huntley’s had planned to be in the first year.
The company has been promoting the access business to its regular telehandler clientele through a slogan ‘Get Access’ and has most recently used T-shirts to promote its growing boom fleet.
