Pop-Up celebrates sales
Pop-Up Products is celebrating the sale of its 1,500th Pop-Up scissor lift in just over one year.
Designed specifically to meet the 2005 Work at Height Regulations, Pop-Up claims it is the smallest low-level scissor lift on the market, able to fit into spaces previously only accessible by ladder.
“The only access products available before the Pop-Up were cumbersome and expensive, so contractors had no choice but to rely on ladders," said Paul Gallacher, Pop-Up sales director.
Providing an average working height of around 3.5 metres, the Pop-Up can accommodate loads of up to 240kgs and allows more than 400 operations (the equivalent of two weeks use) on a single battery charge.
Gallacher continues: “Its popularity is a clear sign that contractors felt there was a need for a safer, more flexible alternative to ladders. Sales for the recently launched Pop-Up Plus + (which is one metre taller in height) are also going well.”
