Tower crane incident
A tower crane came down while being erected on a site in Delray Beach , Florida last week injuring four - two ofthem seriously.
The incident occurred at the Sundy Village construction site, in Delray Beach which is north of Boca Raton on Florida’s Atlantic coast. It looks as though the concrete foundation was simply not large, deep or heavy enough to support the crane - a Liebherr from the Morrow fleet - on the sandy Florida soil.
