Tree care worker shocked

A was rushed to hospital after, yesterday after touching overhead power lines while trimming trees from the bucket of a truck mounted aerial work platform near Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

When the emergency services arrived they found the man, 29, was still conscious. He was rushed to hospital where he is said to be in a stable condition. His colleague, 59, who was also in the basket received a minor electric shock but was said to be unharmed, although he was also taken to hospital for a check over.

Work Place safety inspectors are investigating the incident which took place in Midway Point near Hobart’s international airport.
