He joins the association after more than six years with Haulotte, most recently marketing manager for Haulotte Shanghai, having joined the company as sales manger in 2017. He started out in 2002 as a journalist for CM magazine, before moving into marketing. In 2012 he joined Auctioneers Ritchie Bros as marketing manager for China, and then a key account manager, leaving for Haulotte after five years with the company.
Romina Vanzi, Head of regional development said: “China has a significant and rapidly growing powered access industry and is a key market for IPAF to develop. Tim has an exceptional range of skills and experience and will certainly help drive engagement with our members and help raise awareness of safety issues – he will be a fantastic addition to the IPAF team.”
“Tim will shadow Bai Ri in the role and will take over full responsibility when he retires later this year, Bai Ri will show Tim the ropes and continue to assist in a consultancy and mentoring capacity even after his official retirement. We wish Tim a warm welcome and also express thanks for the work that Bai Ri has done for IPAF over many years.”
Mo added: “When I learned there was a vacancy to be IPAF’s China representative, I jumped at the chance. IPAF is already very well known to me from my role with a manufacturing company, and I believe my knowledge of the industry and skills in marketing and customer engagement will be a very good fit for the new role as IPAF looks to progress key objectives and bring added value to members in China and across the wider Asia region. I can’t wait to get started and look forward to meeting members and colleagues alike at the IPAF Asia Conference in August. I look forward to working closely with Bai Ri and I am sure he will be of great assistance in completing my induction.”
