Multitel agreement for India

Italian vehicle mounted and spider lift manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has signed a partnership agreement with Nexa Global Infra Solution to "explore the business opportunities in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Buthan for sales and service of truck mounted platforms".

Nexa Global Infra Solution was established in Mumbai earlier this year by mechanical Anirban Ghosh, who was JLG’s regional manager for the Indian sub-continent for 11 years, having joined the company in 2012 leaving at the end of last year.
In July he signed his first representation deal with Platform Basket representing the spider lift manufacturer in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. He is also representing telematics company Trackunit.

The representation deal was concluded last week when Anirban Ghosh visited the Multitel Pagliero facility in Manta, Italy. Speaking of his visit he said: "During my recent visit to Manta and after seeing the entire production process - from raw material to the final product - I firmly believe that with its more than 110 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and more than 50 years in the production of truck mounted platforms Multitel Pagliero will become very popular in the Indian rentals and end user market.”

Multitel’s global sales and marketing director Roberto Marangoni – who will have known Ghosh from his time at JLG – added: "We have known Anirban for some time, as well as the excellent work he has done in the Gulf region. We share an entrepreneurial vision and objectives with him, and we are confident that his experience will enable us to penetrate a market that will be strategic for Multitel Pagliero."
