Another acquisition for Mediaco

French crane and access rental company Mediaco is back on the acquisition trail with the takeover of crane and work platform rental company Rollin Levage, adding five locations in the Landes and Basque regions in southwest France south of Bordeaux.

Rollin’s equipment fleet totals 550 units, including 25 cranes from 16 to 350 tonnes, 110 work platforms with a working height of up to 65 metres, several telehandlers and almost 400 cabins, with 45 employees, all whom will stay with the business.

Founded in 1981, family owned Rollin Levage was managed by Christophe Rollin, who will join Mediaco as director of the Landes region.

The move follows Mediaco’s earlier acquisitions of VDL Levage, Oisans Levage and Matthey Petit in Switzerland earlier this year.
