MyLift acquires Mortens Kranservice
Norway’s Mylift Holding has acquired Norwegian crane rental company Mortens Kranservice in an all share purchase deal.
Founded in 1998 Mortens Kranservice runs a fleet of trucks on which Palfinger loader cranes of various sizes are mounted. The fleet alos includes a number of All Terrain cranes, and is owned and managed by founder Morten Svenmoen, 62, who says that there is no one in the family to take over from him. So when Knut Rindal of Mylift called, they quickly found they had much in common and good deal of common ground and agreed to talk. Mortens Kranservice will continue to trade with its current branding and organisation operating as a separate business within the Mylift group. Morten Svenmoen will continue to manage the company as general manager.
The Mylift group includes aerial lift rental company Mylift and scaffold company MB Stillas.

Mylift chief executive Knut Rindal said: “Mortens Kranservice is a strategic acquisition that provides exciting opportunities and a close collaboration where we naturally complement each other. In addition, this strengthens our competence, especially within logistics and cranes. The acquisition makes us a more complete partner, especially for customers in construction and events.”
