Hy-Brid adds to sales team

Low level aerial lift manufacturer Custom Equipment/Hy-Brid Lifts has appointed David Price as director of sales in the south eastern region of the USA, with responsibility for supporting and working with existing customers in the region while expanding its dealer network.

He joins the company after a year and a half as national account director for with rental company EquipmentShare. He began his aerial lift career in 2011as a branch manager with rental company RSC, which was acquired the following year by United Rentals, he remained on board and within three years was promoted to regional general manager. At the end of 2015 he moved to a similar role at Blueline Rental, which United acquired in 2018, once again he stayed on board leaving for EquipmentShare last June.

Speaking of his appointment Price said: “I am excited to join this team and look forward to the opportunity to work with our customers. Coming from the rental industry, I understand the importance of quality equipment and customer service backed by a solid service department. After touring the production facility and meeting the Hy-Brid Lifts family, it’s no surprise that this company is continuing to grow, and I look forward to being a part of that growth.”

Vice president of sales Dave Wanta added: “The entire Hy-Brid Lifts team is excited to have David on board to serve the southeast United States. David has a wealth of sales and rental industry knowledge that will strengthen our ability to serve our customers. David is a valuable addition to the team, and we look forward to the contributions that he will provide for our company’s continued growth.”

In September Hy-brid was acquired Turkey’s Asko Holding, which also owns Turkish aerial lift manufacturer ELS.
