Manitowoc has opened a representative office in Peru to promote sales of all of its brands, including Grove, Potain, Manitowoc and National Crane.
The new office is located in the Link Tower in Santiago de Surco, on the south east side of Lima. The new facility will work with the company’s partners in the country, including Uteco, which handles its parts and service coverage as well as some sales.
The office will support and co-ordinate replacement parts deliveries and access to aftersales services in neighbouring countries. The new operation is part of Manitowoc’s plan to expand its presence throughout South America, and joins existing offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Santiago, Chile, Bogota, Colombia and Monterrey, Mexico.
The company invited customers and business partners to a formal opening party towards the end of the year. Regional general manager Cristian Galaz said: “It was a fantastic event that marked the beginning of a new chapter for Manitowoc in Peru. Our team is thrilled to continue supporting our customers in Peru as we grow together.”
