The operators of a truck mounted platform escaped unhurt after coming off the road and rolling down a steep bank in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia this weekend.
The two had travelled to the area to assist with the massive clean up job following last weeks extreme storms and were helping the local utility company restore power. As they travelled along a back road they encountered a very sharp bend in road which was too extreme to take at the speed they were travelling. As a result the truck went straight ahead and then rolled down the embankment, completing a couple of complete rotations before coming to rest against a tree, some 30 metres below the road.
